Why You Should Attend
This workshop seeks to
provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the components and elements
in a volunteer management framework. Participants will be able to apply the
knowledge gained through this course towards enhancing the development of
their volunteer programme and managing volunteers in a professional way.

Course Outline
- Appreciate the importance of a VMF
- Identify the components and elements in a VMF
- Understand the role of volunteer programme
manager
- Review why you want to involve volunteers in your
work
- Explore some key good practices like volunteer
needs analysis, writing job descriptions, policy formulation, recruitment,
supervision, retention and review, in volunteer programmes
- Develop an action plan to enhance your
organisation’s VMF
