ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION
1. Registration
Step 1: Choose the course(s) you wish to attend
Step 2:
Check your organisation’s eligibility for VWOs-Charities
Capability Fund (VCF).
Step 3: Download MOVE Training Registration Form and fax the completed form to MOVE at 6227 6823
Step 4: Apply for training funding (please see instructions and form below)
Step 5: For VCF grantees, please forward VCF’s approval email to MOVE at susan@move.org.sg.
A place will be reserved for you upon
receipt of your registration form by fax.
Please inform us in writing of any change in your registration with
more than 10 working days* of notice before commencement of the course. If
no notification is received by commencement date, the full course fee will
be billed to the organisation.
MOVE will notify the participants of
confirmation of the course and their training places via email at least 5
working days before the commencement date of the course.
2. Training Funding/ Subsidy
The
funding available for each training is indicated on the respective
training course webpage and the course brochure.
(a) VWOs-Charities Capability Fund (VCF)
VCF
provides 80% funding (Singaporeans/PRs) or 60% funding (personnel
on employment pass/work permit) to applicants from registered charities/IPCs and NCSS
members, for approved courses.
Participants (Staff/Volunteers) from Charities/IPCs that are members of National Council of Social Service (NCSS)
- Apply online for VCF funding at https://www.ncssapp.org.sg
at least one week before course commencement. Once your online
application(s) is approved, the system will generate a reference number
and email for each successful application.
- Forward to MOVE
at susan@move.org.sg the system-generated emails (which will also show your application
reference number(s) as proof of your eligibility for VCF
funding, clearly stating your name and course title.
Participants (Staff/Volunteers) from Charities/IPCs that are NOT members of National Council of Social Service (NCSS)
- Download and complete the application form for VCF funding at http://www.charities.gov.sg
(click on the "VWOs-Charities Capability Fund" icon on the right,
followed by "Training", "Training Application Form" and "Download Local
Training Grant Application Form").
- Mail the completed form to VCF Secretariat
Please note
that funding is subjected to the respective funder's approval and the
eligibility criteria set forth for granting of funding. Before
applying, please read through the funding criteria and also the funding
terms and conditions.
In the event where funding is not granted, the remaining fees will be recovered from the applicant.
3. MOVE Members' Discount
MOVE members will also receive an additional 10% discount off the nett fees (after funding), unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment
Please send your payment to reach us at
least 10 working days before the commencement date of the course to
confirm your seat. All cheques must be made payable to 'MOVE', crossed
and marked 'A/C payee only' with the course title(s) and participant’s name
indicated on the back of the cheques.

5. Refund of Fees
If notice of withdrawal is given in
writing:
- 100% refund for written notification received by
MOVE within 10 or more working days* before commencement date of class
- 50% refund for written notification received by
MOVE within less than 10 working day*s from commencement date of class
- After commencement / No show - No refund
6. Cancellation
MOVE reserves the right to cancel
the course due to unforeseen circumstances.
